Description
The concept of bullying is explored on many levels from power to empowerment.
From what the word bullying means, to strategies for dealing with bullying, and building
confidence and assertiveness skills. These sessions are fun, energized and powerful.We
utilize a fusion of styles including role-play, games, improvisation and discussion.
Sessions Include:
-The Future is Ours. Safe, Fun and Connected. Dealing with cyber bullying and youth voice.
-We're better without bullying with a focus on bullying and achievement.
-Stop, think, words can hurt. Focus on verbal bullying, banter and hurtful language.
-Taking action together. We all have a responsibility to deal with bullying.
-Being different, belonging together: Helping people recognize and value difference, diversity and togetherness.

First topic. Cyber Bullying
What does cyber-bullying mean to us? What strategies are available for us to deal with cyber bullying? What is the difference between traditional face-to-face bullying and cyber bullying? These sessions are fun, energized and powerful. We utilize a fusion of styles including role-play, games, improvisation and discussion.

Second topic. Peer mediation training
What is peer mediation? How can I become a better peer mediator? We look at active listening, empathy, spotting bullying behavior, victim mentality and strategies for dealing with bullying. These sessions are fun, energized and powerful. We utilize a fusion of styles including role-play, games, improvisation and discussion.

Third topic. Updating a school’s anti-bullying policy
We work with a specified group of students and/or teachers to explore how your anti-bullying policy can be updated. These sessions are fun, energized and powerful. We utilize a fusion of styles including role-play, games, improvisation and discussion.

Fourth topic. Anti-Bullying Teacher Training
The concept of bullying is explored on many levels, as is how to spot bullying. What the word bullying means, strategies for dealing with bullying, listening to students, reporting bullying, keeping a log, bullying and the law and how to prevent being bullied are all subjects explored in these sessions. These sessions are fun, energized and powerful. We utilize a fusion of styles including role-play, games, improvisation and discussion.
